When I click on the site address, it said, Homestead at the top and Sorry, the site you requested is temporarily disabled. I knew to get here by typing s8invisionfree. Wonder what is up.

Someone wrote to me and said this was going on. I get in through a pre-set bookmark, and I haven't had any trouble. Is it still not working?

Yes I believe so. That is why many of our pics are not working.

I thought I was imagining things, but I noticed that on Thursday, July 20 on my neighbor's computer where I was house/animal sitting. Then on Friday I noticed it in the library, what's going on??? I got the same thing "the site you requested is temporarily disabled."
This is what I did and still have to do: I typed in ALGOREismylife and found where it said profile for me and clicked on that and was able to get here to our great site. I know you can type in other members' names and get almost the same results.

UPDATE:
I've received a reply from the web host of our site, and they need more info from me before they can tell me what's wrong. I hope we can get it figured out . . . :rolleyes:

ANOTHER UPDATE:
Right now I'm in the library and it's still happening. Still have to go through the same way to get here. Oh well, atleast it works. <_<

Hi, Earthman. Apparently the site works okay if you go in through the forum page, but if you try to access it through the homepage, you're told that the site's been disabled. Since this is where guests are directed if they find us through a search engine, our traffic has been greatly reduced.
Still trying to find out what the problem is . . . :(

I finally heard back from tech support. The problem is with the webhost, which hosts the homepage. The message board is fine, which is why if you know how to get here, it's still operational. But, as I said above, guests come here via search engines that direct them to the homepage, and that's down, so we have next to no traffic here, which isn't a good thing.
I've contacted Chris to see if he can do something. If not, the site will become obsolete and fade into oblivion . . .

He's probably forgotten to pay the bill. If he needs help paying it tell him I can help him out. Usually if it is paid up they will put it back on right away. (This happened with my little site when I forgot to pay the bill.) :unsure:

All I know is that I got an e-mail from Chris last night saying the site would be back up today, and indeed it is. Phew . . . : :rolleyes:
P.S. I think it may be something like what Erin said.
