The Republicans drafted Hillary to be THE Democratic candidate back in 2004.
Everyone I saw, when they were on camera, had something to say about Hillary being THE candidate for 2008.
It was Hillary this, Hillary that, Hillary the other. They have had HILLARY on the brain for over 4 years now.
The Republicans do NOT miss a chance to tout Hillary as THE candidate.
Ask YOURSELF why that may be.
They gave her mention at every turn even before SHE said a word as to whether she would even consider throwing her hat in the ring.
THIS IS A WARNING.... When the 'other' side wants YOU to do anything in battle, you had BETTER SERIOUSLY CONSIDER another course of action.
The Democrats have come right along and fell into the trap.
Who are we hearing about now? Hillary, Hillary, Hillary.
As I watched this ruse take place it occurred to me that the REPUBLICANS definitely and DESPERATELY want her to gather the support of the Democratic party. Why you might ask?
Very simply, the Republican position is very weak after two terms of the brainless Bush and they have no viable candidate themselves.
But, at the risk of sounding biased, I believe they KNOW the voters WILL NOT ELECT a woman to run this country at this point in time.
The Democratic party has ABSOLUTELY NO viable candidate.
Unless Al Gore decides to SAVE US along with the Earth. That's "US" and "U.S.".
I will give every penny I have and every ounce of strenght in my body to get him to run and to support his campaign.
He is the ONLY one that has the intellect and strength to start repairing the DISSASTER Bush and the Republicans have created.
For OUR future, our childrens future and our grandchildrens future, PLEASE, I'm BEGGING you, please run in 2008, Mr.Gore.

Hillary lacks:Presidential Presence, has huge negatives, lacks the
political savvy her husband had and is now in an untenable
political position vis-à-vis the war. `I don’t think that she will run.`
If Gore announces-everyone on the political horizon will be
Diminished!!!!!` Al` Gore is backed by the International Scientific
Community And the entire civilized world.
There is a whole gaggle of gop candidates; McCain, Julianni , Pataki
Hagel , Frist, to name a few. <_<
Great analysis Paul. This is what I've been saying for years, Hillary's candidacy is being manufactured by the right and their shills in the media. And too many Dems for and against Hillary are falling for it.
Yesterday, once again Chris Matthews dedicated the major segment of his Sunday show to Hillary in '08. He and the other pundits talked about Hillary being the Democratic nominee as if the primaries had already occured. There they were spending 15 minutes discussing the presidential run of a person whom (unlike Kerry, McCain or even Gore) has never said one word to indicate she is interested in running. Of course, facts didn't get in their way either and all failed to note that while Biden, McCain and Edwards currently are hiring staff in New Hampshire & Iowa; Hillary is not.
Hillary is doing a spectacular job raising funds for Dems all over
the country while running her senate reelection bid.
But she does, at this time, have her eye on the prize! :unsure:
