LMFAO. Whoohoo! Go Dean!

If what Dean is saying is true, then the MSM need to get on board with this fact. I've read in several places that the Dems. account for about a third of the people who took the dirty money doled out by Abramoff and his clients.

What Dean said is 100% true. And what you are reading is GOP talking points that are being parroted by the mass media. Several indian tribes did give to Dems. But as Dean said they were not agents of Jack Abramoff.

I was confused about where exactly the truth is in this thing, so asked the people at the Randi Rhodes message board, and checked media matters, and both say Dean was right.

Apparently the money people are saying Dems took, is money Dems accepted from Indian Tribes, that happened to clients of Abramoff, but they didn't receive money because of Abramoff.

I explained to some right-wing friends of mine on another forum that the whole point of the K-Street Project was to keep Democrats out of the loop. I said to them, that'd be like if MoveOn got in some legal trouble, and the DNC started to claim Republicans were culpible too.

Here are some good links:

Randi Rhodes Forum: Are Dems involved with Abramoff or not?

MSNBC's Scarborough falsely claimed news outlets proved Dean wrong on Abramoff and Democrats

It's still a little confusing considering that graphs put out don't really explain the difference, but I think I'm beginning to understand.

Wolf got Blitzed by Dean.

I just saw the Democratic website which clearly debunks the assertion. The sad thing is, until I saw it, I never heard of any democrat disagree vigorously with the assertion that Reid and Dorgan were also involved. When will we have our megaphone?

It's about time somebody sets Wolf Blitzer straight.
