I accidentally posted this prior to finishing it... my bad. But, Mark Warner just started this PAC.

This is Al Gore's website.

ONe would think on Mark Warner's then, there should be a direct link back here, doesn't that make sense?

I have a feeling most people here are not very enthusiastic about anyone else at this point.

But please put a link on that site leading back here and to the other Gore sites.

Mark Warner is definitely a very smart guy. I wish he was running for George Allen's senate seat.

Not only that, I think Governor Warner is also very politically savvy & astute. I mean, why would a 1-term governor who was so successful in governing the state & with popularity all across-the-board run against an incumbent senator, only to see the plausibility of himself losing? Besides, we all believe that we need to nominate a Democrat who can win in the south & other red states. And the governor believes he can win. But I have my doubts. The last real-life 1-term governor who won was Jimmy Carter in '76. And the latest being Jed Bartlet of 'The West Wing' who though was a 2-term governor of New Hampshire, he has only served for 4 years (N.H.'s gubernatorial term is only 2 years). But that's in their universe. I don't see it happening anytime. Al's gonna blow everyone away, that's for sure.

True, this is an Al Gore site; but, this post is under the area called "General Democratic Talk." Therefore, this post is ok. I wasn't trying to change anyones views, i was just simply letting you all know the latest news. There is nothing wrong with supporting all kinds of Democrats... especially since the goal is to win in 2006 and 2008. I guess you might as well take out this area of the forum if you aren't allowed to post anything about any other Democrat.

I believe that Warner would run for Governor again if he was able to by law. Not only that, but he would annihilate any oppostion. That man has an approval rating of over 80% and the fact of the matter is, Virginians love him. What he did for the state and the people living in it was phenominal.
