Title: Election 2005 Just Hours Away

Yep we're just hours away from Election 2005 where we got 2 governor races in NJ & VA including the mayor's race here in NYC. We also got some ballot initiatives in OH,CA etc. So let's here your predictions guys on who's gonna win the big races tomorrow assuming there's no voting fraud.

There's an initiative here in New Jersey the only official name I've heard for it is "Public Question Number 2" :P but it's about fitting buses with things on the tail pipes that will reduce pollution. It seems to have support from Democrats and Republicans, and there seems to be little opposition to it, since there won't be any additional taxation for it. I predict it'll pass.

I predict Corzine will beat his slimeball opponent Doug Forrester (I know that's mean, but that's the way Forrester comes off most of the time, as a not nice guy).

I'm not so familiar with the Ohio and California elections, but I hope the Dems win there too.

It looks like Bloomberg has the election in a bag, and I don't know much about the VA election either, but it really seems like Tim Kaine is getting a lot more media attention than his opponent (considering that I can't recall hearing his opponent's name once).

Yeah, I think Dems will come out looking good in most of the elections. :Y:

It will be a major slap in the face to Bush Co. if Kaine wins.

Corzine will take the Garden State unless there's some rigging at the polls. <_<

Bloomberg definitely has NYC in his pocket. :P

And I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Kaine. :Y:

Oh, yeah, and you're right, G.S. Forrester is a slimeball if ever there was one. He'd better not win or I might have to move out of the state.

GO DEMS!!

Well, I voted at 8:20 this morning after dropping my daughter off at school. It's going to be a long wait until they announce the winners tonight . . .

We got the day off from school today. :D I'm still too young to vote, but it prolly wouldn't matter anyway... It's only local elections, and local politics in my area is controlled by unqualified republicans loaded with money from Pataki and Bruno.
