When trying to fill out MoveOn's survey, this is the summary they had of "Public Question #2"
Summary of Public Question 2:
The New Jersey Legislature has passed legislation to clean up diesel pollution. While the program enacted is poised to clean up 30,000 diesel powered vehicles, it will not go into effect until the voters approve the funding this fall on the ballot. Without requiring any new taxes from residents or businesses and at no cost to municipalities, the diesel cleanup program before voters would fund the installation of pollution traps on the tailpipes and engines of all the state's diesel buses and some trucks, making them 50-90 percent cleaner. The program would also clean up all of New Jersey's diesel school buses.

"Jon Corzine has proven himself as an effective Senator, and I believe he will use his past experience as a bussinessman to help businesses in New Jersey. Also, he promises to strengthen Homeland Security, which is n area we desperately need improvement in, considering all of the "soft targets" we have in this state. Quality of life is another important thing. Something that makes New Jersey remarkable is its architectural and natural beauty. We have office buildings designed by world-renowned architects, we have nationally famous beaches, and we have some of the most beautiful parks in this great country we call the United States. We cannot allow these things to become unavailable to us, whether it's more land being set-aside for development, or large urban areas being built without adequate greenspace. New Jersey deserves to have Governor Jon Corzine."
This is what I wrote regarding "Public Question 2"
"It's a sad fact that here in New Jersey, we have some of the worst pollution levels in the nation. My own county, Hudson County recently came in as one of the top most polluted in the nation. If we want to change this trend, breathe clean air, and prevent future generations from suffering maladies related to bad air (such as asthma) we need to make sure this measure passes."
