Title: Guns do a good deed today

FellowDemocrat - October 6, 2005 12:40 AM (GMT)
Ok, so when i was at work today, i was listening to the Air America and heard something funny involving a local gun club. Apparently, today a few guys escaped from a section of a county jail called "Tent city." Two got caught driving a car they stole in order to get away and the other was still on the run. I guess the last guy was on the run when of all places, he ran into the Scottsdale Gun Club. As soon as he walked inside, he saw a bunch of their staff armed with various types of handguns carried at their sides. The radio didn't say what they did, but their employees are either ex-military or ex-law enforcement so they obviously did something because the guy walked in the bathroom and waited until the police to arrived. Ha, imagine that, the guy leaves an area where their are people armed with guns and runs into a place where there are people that are armed... what an idiot.

of course, if one of those bozos had been drunk or something, a very bad situation could have occured.

While guns don't kill, neither does booze, except when one drinks it.

That is why good regulations go far- every single regular person who wants a gun should know what they are doing and vow never to drink while the gun is in their possesion.
Because guns and alchohol do not mix.
Just ask all the little kiddies who were shot accidentally by their parents or possibly
picked up a gun left, while their parent was passed out from drinking

When was the last time someone went hunting for sport, and did not have a cooler
filled with beer and other drinks with them? Has that ever happened?

First let me add that i'm not too sure on how strict the law is on mixing guns with booze. I do know that if you mix drugs with guns... You're F*ked.

What bozos? The men and woman working at the Scottsdale Gun Club?

Not nearly ever gun owner kills nor does every person kill who drinks alcohol.

Most gun owners do infact know what they are doing. Most, if not nearly all, learn as much as they can about the guns they are buying before they buy it. Hell, alot even take courses.

You're blaming a kids death on alcohol now? It's still the parents fault for not having a safe or trigger locks.

I don't know if that has ever happened. What i do know is that if i ever went hunting, i would not bring beer.
