Well, as usual he has backers in this: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discu...ess=132x1857908

I never understood his appeal. He has been a Democrat a shorter time than I have been out of puberty for god sakes and he is one of everyone's favorite Democrats.

Anyone else find it weird and annoying?

I believe the answer to this is on our Political Rountable Thread title "A curious CNN Poll". Ever since 9/11 it seems the major guiding motivation in American Politics has been fear. The corporate owned media, I believe have not only communicated this fear, they have magnified it and continue to do so. When the people are afraid they are more likely to turn to someone strong on defense and being a former general is certainly a bonus. I beleive that if the American people vote out of fear, this will be an advantage to Clark, if they vote out of hope for a better future then Al Gore will win hands down.

P.S. As a side note, I noticed that one of the bloggers on D.U. posted a heading re: this as Skull & Bones Skull & Bones, so my question is does anyone out there know if Clark was a Skull & Bones?

His supporters want him for one reason: "electibility." He has no credentials, no accomplishments (politics-wise). All he has is a Southern drawl and a military background. And I hope everybody remembers what happened last time we picked a guy based off of "electibilty"...

I have never heard is name mentioned as a member of Skull and Bones, but without bashing Clark, there has always been something about him I just do not trust.

Signing with FOX???? You got to be kidding. :bad:

Will he be paired with someone on the far right? It is unimaginable that they would let him get his say in without a right wing spin.

Just to make my own opinion perfectly clear, whether it be war or peace I believe that Al Gore is the most competent leader that we have to handle the situation. So if you are hopeful or fearful Al is the best prospect out there.

There is none better, I just hope people will wake up and realize this before things get any worse and they will if Republicans continue to screw things up, like they have been, since Bush stole 2000.

AL will have a big mess dumped on him, but he is definitely the only one capable of fixing it with alot of hard work. I trust AL GORE completely.
