It seemed to me that Bush's lies were just about to be exposed by our national excuse for journalism when the smoking gun Downing Street memos came to light. The BBC had certainly reported on them and I thought our media might actually do their job and cover them, however suddenly Zarqawi got shot or a hangnail or something and this is all our news media can do now which is to speculate on his condition. They have as much chance to diagnose his condition as Frist had to diagnose Schiavo. My question is what ever happened to the Downing Street memos? Maybe someone out there knows someone that practices journalism and they could check on it for us, may be I am just asking too much.

It seems even C-span does not want to acknowledge the Downing Street Memos.
