Title: Yes, another poll, but different

ALGOREismylife - May 4, 2005 11:09 PM (GMT)
I know everyone is probably sick of polls right now, but this one is slightly different from the others and AL GORE is in it, so it might be interesting.

Okay, I voted. Al's in the lead by one vote (but we're only talking about four votes vs. Bill Clinton's 3 votes, so it's insignificant).

Coolest Democrat? Okay. I'll play along. Let's see how this one goes. I put Joe Lieberman as the LEAST cool Democrat.

ALGOREismylife - May 5, 2005 12:37 AM (GMT)
I'm thinking this might be a new poll but don't know. I looked for a starting date but didn't find one, so I have no idea when this poll was started or how long it will last. But what the heck, it's just for fun.

This is how I voted

And these are the current results.

Who in the world voted for Lieberman? The guy who Roger Ailes said was "one of our better Democratic Senators".

Here is my top ten:

Al Gore
Harry Reid
John Kerry
Howard Dean
Bill Clinton
Hillary Clinton
John Edwards
Nancy Pelosi
Bill Richardson
Joe Lieberman

earthmother - May 5, 2005 01:57 PM (GMT)
Funny. We all put Joe Lieberman at the bottom. :bad:

The LPOTUS shall be pleased! Everywhere he goes he WINS!

earthmother - May 5, 2005 04:54 PM (GMT)
Guess what, guys. I went back to that poll to check on the results, and it seems you can vote more than once.

Haha, my mom and I voted 7 times the other day for American Idol.

I'm afraid to ask, greyfox . . . who did you vote for?

My daughter and I believe that it's way past time for Anthony to go.

greyfox - May 5, 2005 08:11 PM (GMT)
We voted for Bo. It was the first time we voted. Our favorite was Constantine, but we never bothered voting because we figured everybody else would. My mom and her sisters were SO pissed when Constantine got the boot. They went on 3 way and had some course words. Now we're 100% support for Bo. :good:

I'll be damned if the Texas girl wins. Joking when Constantine lost, I told my family they should make electoral votes for American Idol.

I guess that is kind of weird, because that is exactly where I put him, at the bottom.

GSC Admin - May 5, 2005 08:29 PM (GMT)
Yes, it is time for Anthony to go. He has played up his time on his tracheotomy and it is time for him to go. Personally I like all of them, but I would like to see Vonzell to win.

earthmother - May 5, 2005 09:22 PM (GMT)
As much as greyfox doesn't want that girl from Texas to win, I think Carrie is actually the most talented of the ones remaining. And she sho is perdy . . .

greyfox - May 5, 2005 09:32 PM (GMT)
Damn right she is perdy, very perdy, but Bush would see it as victory. He'd make some stupid comment on the news like "This is a great victory for Texas, and a great victory for freedom." I could just see Cheney hacking into voting system to make her win.

Or what would you guys think of Fox made an electoral college for Idol?

I guess only once a day, it denied my second vote, I did vote at library, but it seems only one vote a day on same computer.

Hi kids,

A little departure from Americal Idol...

I just posted some poll questions on the Zogby (Pollster) International Forum. This is under "Progressive Issues". The title is "OUR CHOICE FOR 2008 DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE". Please go there as soon as you can and give Our Hero a boost. :good:

Thanks!
Dinah

Dinah, this is great. Just one problem . . . the link doesn't seem to work! At least it doesn't work for me. Can you try again? :?:

Hi Earthmother,

Yeah, sorry, I don't know why, but try the following:

http://interactive.zogby.com/fuse/

You can go to "Progressive Issues" or "General Politics". I posted in both, possibly a mistake, since I was informed it was a rule break to post twice, and also the "General Politics" site will draw folks on the right (which may not be great). In any case, I don't know that anyone will fill it out in full. There's a need for Zogby to make it a poll in an easier format which could also tally large group results...

NEW POLLS:

2008 DEMOCRATIC NOMINEE:

http://www.demochoice.org/dcballot.php?poll=2008DEM

Howard Dean is in the lead with 16 votes
AL GORE is in 8th with 5 votes, so please Vote for AL.

2008 PRESIDENTIAL POLL:

http://www.demochoice.org/dcballot.php?poll=pres2008

Howard Dean leads with 13 votes.
AL GORE in 7th with 4 votes.

These polls seem to be recent ones, so there should be enough time to vote for AL GORE.

earthmother - May 10, 2005 08:46 PM (GMT)
Well, the reason Dean is winning is that, the way this poll is set up, somehow when you vote for other people, your vote ends up counting for someone else. I just voted in both, and I put Al Gore first (natch), and I was informed that my vote had counted for Howard Dean both times. <_<

E.M., I went back and checked results, your votes must have counted for AL, because Dean has same amount in both polls as I previously posted and AL has one more in each.

Just did my vote  So happy to see that Al Gore is fourth, taking in consideration that he has not announced yet, :Y:

Would you like it if everyone voted against someone from New York just because Hillary Clinton is from New York? I think people should get votes becuase of how well they sing, not because of where they are from, or what war criminals they happen to share the same state as. :)

ALGOREismylife - June 22, 2005 12:37 AM (GMT)
More polls, not sure when they were started but I'm sure they are not too old. AL needs votes.
