Title: Hannity takes another cheap shot on radio show

I was switching through the radio dial today, came across Sham Vannity and listend to his show for about 4 minutes, and he took another cheap shot at Al Gore, just out of the clear blue sky in a context that had nothing to do with Al Gore.

He talked about a poll that reportedly said 62% of Iraqis feel they're better off than they were before the Iraq War. He said that's the highest number since the War began. (mind you this is coming from Sean Hannity, I'd have to research those numbers myself before believing it). Anyway, he immitated John Kerry's voice, and said that Kerry said (paraphrase) "don't misinterpret or misunderstand these numbers". Then just out of the blue sky, he said "Now he's becoming 'Al Gorish', he's swinging at the president's budget."

1. What the heck is that even supposed to mean!?

and 2. As far as I know, (I could be wrong) I don't remember hearing or reading anything about Al Gore even mentioning Bush's budget at any point except during the 2000 election - correct me if I'm wrong about this -

What's the deal with that?

This is why, G.S., I don't bother listening to these idiots like 'Sham Vannity' as you call him or that other complete idiot Rush Limpuke. It's like you're just waiting for one of these conservative idiots to say something totally idiotic about AL GORE, while spewing out their lies.

To tell you the truth, I wouldn't waste one minute of my day listening to these jerks, absolutely nothing they ever says makes any sense whatsoever. :bad:

Patience pays off. Remember when I questioned the validity of the poll Hannity referred to - considering that it's coming from Hannity? Well, apparently the poll was done by a group called the International Republican Institute with "strong partisan ties" (according to Media Matters) to the Republican Party. Media Matters also reports that its board of directors is full of "Well-Connected Republicans" http://www.iri.org/board.asp

I found this out in a Media Matters Report about a Sinclair Broadcasting Group's commentator claiming this organization was "non-partisan". He said that in reaction to the New York Times pointing out that a scientific poll such as this would be near impossible to do in a country in disarray like Iraq.

It's all reported here: http://mediamatters.org/items/200504010005
