Does anyone know who the poet is that Al Gore referenced in his father's eulogy? The line was: "How body from spirit does slowly unwind until we are pure spirit at the end." The line was also quoted in the January 5th episode of The West Wing.

Glad to see another West Wing fan here. I searched and could not find the author of that quote. In his eulogy, Al just called him "poet", so he could be an anon poet.
