Again, Kerry and Edwards gets the standard bearer vote in this poll. Also, there is no chance for Obama to run so he is out. See, even Bill Clinton only got 3% so don't worry.

I don't like that one bit, what the HELL is wrong with people, are they brain-dead???? H.C. doesn't have a chance. PRESIDENT AL GORE is not only the best choice, he is the only choice. AL will stomp any republiTHUG big time in 2008. But how to you get through to people to make them see that? Do those on our side want to hand another election to the republiTHUGS, rigged or legit???

All right. It says next to the poll that it's "Open-ended," which I'm guessing means people weren't given a choice of any particular people, they were just asked to name the person they wanted to run. It's no surprise that Kerry and Edwards come in as high as they do--everyone knows who they are and people are still disappointed that they voted for them and they didn't win. I am surprised that Hillary comes in so high, though. So many people despise her.
It's hard to know what to make of Gore's low numbers. I think it's probably a matter of most people thinking that since he didn't run last time he's never going to run again, so they don't mention him. If he were to let people know he's even thinking of running, I think we'd see those numbers turn around.
One thing I do know: When we were making all those phone calls to New Hampshire and other write-in states, I encountered many people who were mad at him because he wasn't running and said they'd never vote for him again. I don't know if that sentiment would remain in '08 if he were running.

At least he registered on the poll and its something to work with. If he'll get out there, make some more speeches, and shows that he is still a voice to be reconed with, people will understand he is just what we need.
Two percentage points eh? Hey, rub em together and maybe they'll reproduce!

I think it's pointless to post these polls because it diverts us from our goal which right now is to be organizing for the future.

2% is consistent with the amount of smart people in this country. The poll is just about right.
To acutally win the election, Democrats need someone consistent with the characters from the movie "Dumb and Dumber." Republicans have plenty to those. The good news is that Democrats are on right path and they have started the process of carefully identifying and purging smart people from the party...starting with Al Gore few years ago.

We all know that Bush supporters are idiots, that's nothing new. But there is no humor in their ignorance, although I have no pity for Bush supporters, I loathe them, the very thought of four years of that evil thief is a very, very sad thing for this country as well as the world.
