I have given a lot of thought as to just how to address this issue that is so prevalent today.
What I see as the main driving force is greed. The greed of the bankers, the greed of the brokers, the greed that runs rampant thought Wall Street, the greed of Congress and of course the greed of the average man.
Were you aware that the average salary of the CEO of a company is 421 times that of it's lowest paid worker. Greed... by all means. A lack of concern for their employees... of course.
How much is spent each and every year on meaningless earmarks or shipped overseas as aid. What are the dollar amounts that big businesses get each year, even thought they don't need it.
The amounts are staggering to say the least and criminal at most.
But let's look at one other item. LOBBYING: It has been proven that for every $1.00 put into a lobbying effort a 22,000% return on your investment is realized.
These examples are the in your face type but the problem runs the full course through out scoiety. I am currently doing a more indepth report ands should be finished in a day or two. I will post it when complete.
Now lets look at some other factors that have contributed to the majority suffering of the horrors of poverty.
But to understand the reasons so many are so hard pessed to just get by we much first look at other, man made factors. Proverty is created by wealthy men in order to enslave the masses through economic slavery. The old line they so ofter use, that this is their money and they earned it is a lie. They stole it from our labors and paid slavery wages. The big difference is they didn't have to house or feed us. They could legally throw us out into the streets, pennieless.
Just look at some figures and decide for yourself.
FAST CHECK.ORG found that only .02% of all U.S. households made $250.000 a year or more. (SO much to the validity of the Tea Party fools who believed Obama would raise their taxes. He only promosied to raise taxes on those earning $250,000 or more. The Tea Party crowd was in fact liers, or completely ignornant.)
According to the Sociology Dept. of Cailfornia in Santa Cruz in 2004 the top one one percent owned 42.2% of all this countries waelth. The next 19% owned 50.3% and the lower or remaining 80% owned only 7.5%. And those numbers have grown exponently.
Today the top 1% hold only 7.2% of the debt. The next 9% hold 19.9% and the lower 90% are saddled with 73% of the debt. The result is that the lower incomes will be indebted to and owned by the richer 1% for the rest of their lives and the lives of all of there decendents. They own the country we call our own and it was a planned coup with a Government to see that things remain the same.
The World Prout Assembly puts the poverty level at $19,971 a year. In the last six years the numbers of Americans living under the poverty level has risen to 90 Million, close to 1/3 of the population and they are living on less than 1/2 of the current level of poverty. The top one percent of the wealthy owns 90% more than the bottom 95%. This is the ultimate level of robbery.
The current income level for the proverty level is $19,971 But the average worker earns only $13,670 per year. That's $6,301 below the poverty level.
The CEO of Goldman Sachs earns 5,267% higher than the minimun wage or $69,000,000 a year not counting stock options and perks.
In 1938 the minimum wage was 25 cents an hour. The raise for a family of four did not raise above the poverty level from 1938 until 1970. The rich took the hard earned money of the working class even though the rich did nothing for it. They committed legal robbery.
Now let's look at the present cost of living, this is only a mean average, it may very from location to location.
Rent - $250.00 for slum to $2,500 - average $1,000
Utilities - $250
Car - $400
Insurance - $80
Food - $500
TOTALS OF JUST THE NECCESSITIES = $30,805 or if you consider your income of
$13,670 you are $17,135 short of what you need just to survive. And this is planned to keep you in your place and insure the haves have even more.
To put it as simple as possible you are now or will soon be homeless. The homeless in this country has increased and 90% of the population lives on less than 1/2 the poverty rate. 60 Million live on less than $7.00 a day.
The time for controlled Socialism has come otherwise the last of our country will be the property of only the rich.
